Brogent Technologies Inc.(5263), a leading company in the field of immersive simulation technology, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and at a press conference held today (Nov 19th) at the IAAPA Expo site in Orlando, USA, the company’s third generation of flying theater equipment with a large LED dome screen was unveiled. The new flying theater offers the specifications that are 10 times higher in resolution and brightness than the legacy system, to the extent that people cannot distinguish between the virtual and the real. A variety of the company’s new products utilizing cutting edge simulation technologies were also showcased at the exhibition, emphasizing a more realistic immersive and interactive experience, allowing users to realize their dreams of becoming pilots, racers, explorers, etc. in a virtual world. Brogent’s booth at the IAAPA attracted many visitors on the first day of the show, and the company’s product, Rise Up Airship became the most eye-catching highlight product. At the same time, Brogent also announced at the press conference that Rise NY, the newest flying theater in New York's Times Square, will have its grand opening this December in this year.

The all-new Rise Up Airship features the use of a six DOF (Degrees of Freedom) platform technology to create a steam punk style by leveraging AUO's ultra-high pixel LED technology to create infinitely more realistic experience. According to Brogent, the IAAPA Expo is the grandest annual event in the theme park industry, where almost all the famous theme park clients visit. Through the support from the Economic Development Bureau of the Kaohsiung City Government, Brogent teamed up with a local animation production company Artlord Studio to jointly produce video content that showcases Kaohsiung's innovative capabilities at the show, thus jointly expanding international exposure and opportunities.

Chih-Hung Ouyang, Chairman of Brogent Technologies Inc., noted that the company is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The company has successfully completed 21 immersive ride systems in 13 locations around the world, including 15 flying theaters in Kazakhstan, China, Japan, Denmark, the United States and the United Kingdom. During the worst time of the epidemic, Brogent applied for 25 specially-approved visas to enter countries under lockdown to ensure construction work continues and company personnel spent a total of 410 days in isolation, with 270 tons of equipment entering the respective countries by rail due to a shortage of sea containers. The team is especially proud that the LEGOLAND Windsor Flying Theater in Windsor is not only the first flying theater in the UK, but also won the 2021 European Star Award and the UK Theme Park Awards for the best amusement facility upon opening. LEGOLAND Billund Resort in Billund, Denmark also won the Parkscout Award for the best amusement ride in Europe, making it the fifth consecutive year since 2017 that the company has won major international theme park awards!

The overall development trend of rides in the theme park industry is expected to shift from multimedia formats to more immersive and interactive simulators. High-end theme parks will also appear in metaverse, and the immersive simulation technology developed by Brogent empowers humans to enter metaverse world with a realistic sensation that makes the virtual and real world indistinguishable. Chih-Hung Ouyang also pointed out that the company’s achievements and breakthroughs in the research and development of immersive simulation technology, combined with 5G, AIoT, block chain and other technologies, will contribute to realizing an exciting new world of closer virtual and real integration.
