The very first flying theater to open in Central Asia, built by Brogent

News ArchivesApril 19, 2021

The flying theater Altyn Samruk, built by Brogent Technologies, officially opened in Kazakhstan this April and it’s the very first flying theater in Central Asia. It’s located in the newly opened luxury shopping mall Karavansaray in Turkestan, the largest luxury mall in Central Asia. People can find the flying theater in a beautiful egg-shaped dome representing the nest of the mythical bird Samruk and its golden egg. During the ride, visitors will become travelers of the Silk Road in the medieval period and fly through the historical myths of Kazakhstan.

Karavansaray is a mega-development project by the government of Turkestan combining a shopping mall, two themed hotels, a dining area, and a full entertainment center to draw in more tourists. The investor inquired about the procurement of the flying theater with Brogent at the beginning of last year (2020) and expected the opening to come when the COVID-19 pandemic eased. In order to open on schedule, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan personally signed and approved visas for Brogent’s employees to enter Kazakhstan during the pandemic lockdown. Brogent’s engineering team also overcame other difficulties such as extreme weather, traffic, and so on so that the flying theater could be completed on time and successfully opens in mid-April of this year.

With vaccination rates increasing, major theme parks are now starting to reopen around the world. According to Brogent, many of their projects have also resumed. It is expected that more than 20 of Brogent’s immersive technology rides will be completed around the world in places such as in the United States, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Japan, Vietnam, China, and Canada. Moreover, in response to the different needs of customers after the pandemic, Brogent is prepared to launch a diversified product line of immersive simulation rides to provide the best solution for an ever-changing market.
