Brogent Cares about Rural Children's Education and Donates Picture Books to More than 900 Rural Schools across Taiwan

Brogent Technologies Inc. (5263) held the "Donate Love to Boyo, Deliver Books to Rural Areas" event at the Kaohsiung Municipal Social Education Center today, donating NT$200,000 to the Boyo Social Welfare Foundation to support after-school education for rural children. The donation was accepted by Tang Chuan-yi, Chairman of the Boyo Social Welfare Foundation. Brogent also launched the "Deliver Picture Books to Rural Areas" public welfare campaign in partnership with driftwood artist Pan Chen-Hao and Le Xue Zhai Publishing, gifting the pocketbook "Dialogue with Yourself" and the picture book "Whale and Little Girl" to more than 900 rural elementary schools across Taiwan. Brogent wished to encourage the students to find the power of life through reading, maintain imagination, and cultivate the spirit of courage to practice and not be afraid of failure.

"Dialogue with Yourself” and "Whale and Little Girl" were co-created by Pan Chen-Hao and his sister Pan Yu-Jie. A book launch event titled "Art is a Lock: A Dialogue between Driftwood and Picture Books" was held at the Kaohsiung Municipal Social Education Center’s lecture hall today (4/29). The Chairman of Brogent Group, Ouyang Zhi-Hung shared his own story at the book launch, encouraging children with his passion for creating beautiful things after being inspired by the movie "Star Wars" as a child. This spirit of practice led him to establish Brogent Technologies Inc. and sell its amusement equipment worldwide. Ouyang Chih-Hung hoped that through the picture books, rural children can be exposed to beautiful things and stimulate their creativity and curiosity.

Furthermore, Chairman Ouyang Chih-Hung stated that in addition to donating funds and children's books, Brogent Technologies Inc. will also launch an employee fundraising campaign to contribute to rural children's education. Some employees even volunteered to serve and led the children of Boyo Social Welfare Foundation to experience the flying theater and motion-based equipments at Brogent’s headquarters in Kaohsiung Software Park. While the Volunteers from Brogent designed an obstacle course game to allow children to not only experience the playground but also gain a deeper understanding of the principles behind motion-based technology and amusement equipment design and manufacturing, stimulating their curiosity for learning.

Brogent Technologies Inc. has always valued corporate social responsibility and actively participate in various public welfare activities. This public welfare campaign not only allows rural children to be exposed to beautiful things but also conveys the power of caring and love to society through practical actions.
