Brogent Technologies, Inc. and Hockenheim-Ring GmbH announce partnership – creating an immersive virtual racing experience at the new Welcome Center at Hockenheimring, scheduled to open in 2023, featuring a 6-DOF premium racing simulator and an unprecedented mini-LED dome wall to be unveiled at IAAPA Expo 2022 in Orlando.
Brogent Technologies, Inc. and the Hockenheimring today announced a partnership to create an immersive virtual racing experience at the new Welcome Center at the Hockenheimring, scheduled to open in 2023. “The partnership between Brogent’s world-class virtual racing simulator with mini-LED dome screen and air blower and the renowned race track Hockenheimring will allow visitors to enjoy an unprecedented virtual racing experience with sophisticated motion simulation and a better visual experience – as if they were at a real race track.”
The market for virtual racing experience has been growing during the pandemic, allowing motorsport fans to enjoy racing events despite the lockdown, as more and more motorsport fans and even racers participate in the online virtual racing experiences. This trend – where the fan base of virtual racing and Esports is growing to the point where even race tracks are looking to host on-site virtual racing events to create online and offline racing experiences – is benefiting race track operators and race car brand owners by engaging next-generation motorsport fans with the latest interactive technologies to give them the opportunity to experience the thrill of racing without the need for major investment and without the risk of accidents, enhancing the visitor experience and driving attendance and brand awareness.
C.H Ouyang, CEO and President of Brogent Technologies, Inc. said, “As a big fan of sports cars, I am thrilled to say that Brogent is turning the 6-DOF motion platform and our patented motion programing that our flying theatres are using into the real time interactive virtual racing experience and take one step ahead to integrate it with the sophisticated mini-LED dome screen and bring the experience at the renowned German racing circuit, Hockenheimring. To me, it’s like a sweet dream come true.”
Joint statement by Jorn Teske and Jochen Nerpel, Managing Directors of Hockenheim-Ring GmbH: “We would like to thank our partners from Brogent Technologies for choosing the newly built Welcome Center at the Hockenheimring for the world-exclusive premiere of their new premium racing simulator. Once the venue opens, our visitors will be able to enjoy an unprecedented immersive racing experience. We are proud and excited about this and are sure that the simulator will be an excellent addition to the Welcome Center, where our visitors and fans are supposed to literally feel the exciting atmosphere of the race track. No doubt they will be just as thrilled as we are. Who wouldn’t want to feel like a racing driver?”
Unveiled by Brogent at the IAAPA Expo in Orlando, the premium racing simulator will be installed in the new Welcome Center at the Hockenheimring and is scheduled to be operational by 2023.
