News ArchivesAugust 08, 2018

On August 8th the flying theater attraction FLYOVER CHINA opened at the popular Shijingshan Amusement Park in Beijing, China. Guests board one of seven gondolas and enjoy a ten minute flight around China. They sit up to 12 meters high with dangling feet facing a 20 meter diameter hemispherical dome screen. FLYOVER CHINA is the first i-Ride theater to feature a video system with multiple laser projectors.

The CEO of Brogent Group C.H. Ouyang mentioned that the theatre is operated by Brogent together with local partner FLYOVER CHINA. The opening of the first theatre in Beijing is only the start for a partnership with FLYOVER CHINA with more future projects in China.

Technically speaking the system is an i-Ride panoramic flying attraction from Brogent with a capacity of 70 guests per show. State-of-the-art electric actuators are moving seven motion base modules with six degrees of freedom. Each gondola provides seating for 10 guests. During the show guests can experience special effects like wind, mist and different aromas.

Brogent Technologies delivered the ride system, the dome screen and the AV system for the FLYOVER CHINA as a turnkey solution. Brogent Global, a subsidiary of Brogent Technologies, was in charge of concept for the pre-show area as well as movie production.
